JUICE (A LITTLE MORE DIFFICULT, BUT STILL FUN)

  • Wide selection from Florida, California, and New York ($30 - $75)
  • Easier than grapes
  • Harder than kit
  • 3 - 4 months to wine
  • Ingredients - citric acid, peptic enzyme, acid blend, potassium sorbate, potassium metabisulfite, bicarbonate, etc.
  • Bottles, corks, labels, seals (same as above)

 

GRAPES & FRUIT (MUCH MORE DIFFICULT, SOMETIMES FRUSTRATION, BUT STILL FUN)

  • Limited to table varieties or your own or wild vines (poor quality?)
  • Difficult - crusher, press, storage bottles
  • Ingredients & Supplies - (same as above)
  • Time to crush, press, etc. 4 - 6 months to wine (add more time if you're going to care for vines & pick the grapes yourself.)
  • Cost - Hundreds!
